Mother of Three vs. Black Taxi

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

Mother of Three was invited to play with local show-boaters BLACK TAXI for a night of their residency at Piano’s in NYC. Come vote with your dollars and buy a freshly silk-screened and hand-assembled MO3 EP at the show, cuz they’ll be on sale for the first time. These minor artistic masterpieces, each individually numbered, could be yours for US$6. T-Shirts and miscellany will also be available for you super-consumers. Check out the poster for the show, made by Dima.

For full show details, click here.

Also, since we know exactly how many of you listened to the MO3 EP online at BandCamp (here), and we know how many of you actually paid to download it (let’s just say it’s not an insignificant difference), we here at Shoulder Tap Records began to wonder if pulling a Radiohead and allowing folks to pay a single copper penny to download the whole album would change those proportions. We know it’s not as simple as supply and demand in the music marketplace, but you can currently buy it for as little as US$3! If you want it for a penny, leave a comment and let us know (even anonymously).
