This show is many things. It is:
-a record release show for the new Corrupt Autopilot album, Greetings from Ghost Country
-as well as a benefit for friend and tattoo artist Matty No Times, who had to get a liver transplant with no health insurance covering him
-a birthday show for the Corrupt Autopilot himself (a.k.a. Dima Drjuchin)
-a supergroup made up of members of Mother of Three, New Beard, and AudioAmor
-a guest performance by the lovely and talented Aerial East
The Corrupt Autopilot LP, Greetings from Ghost Country (SHT004), is out now at http://corruptautopilot.com! You can listen to the whole thing for free, and download the whole thing for as little as $5. Corrupt Autopilot is the music of Mother of Three bassist Dima Drjuchin, and Greetings from Ghost Country was brilliantly recorded and produced by Andrew Dunn and Ben Wigler, the brains and beards behind New Beard. The record is a circus of sound, featuring performances from: Yazan and Jonas from Mother of Three, Nik Dryuchin (AudioAmor), Eric Stephenson, Tony Waldman, Ben and Andrew from New Beard, Greg Barris (Heart of Darkness), Gian Carlo Feleppa (Mink Lungs, Emergency Party), Aerial East, and Leah Hayes. What a party!
Speaking of parties: on Saturday 10 July, Corrupt Autopilot will be playing their first show as a band, with Dima leading some of the above characters through a set of songs. Not only is it a birthday party (Dima turns 30!), and a record release party, but it’s also a benefit show for tattoo artist and friend Matty No Times. Matty had to get a new liver, but had no health insurance and is now paying for it, so we’re all helping out. Come on out, click the poster below for more info:

Finally, here’s a clip of Mother of Three playing the Van Morrison classic, “Gloria”. Enjoy!
We booked the whole night at Sidewalk Cafe to perform acoustic sets. Dima (Mother of Three) will be playing his solo material as Corrupt Autopilot, then joined by comedic and conspiratorial powerhouse Greg Barris as Wigmaker's Son. Yazan (Mother of Three) will be playing songs he wrote while living in the Californian desert. Jesse Adelman (The Telephones) is joining us for an acoustic set, followed by new friends New Beard, who will likely be playing as a full band, tuba and all. No cover!
On Thurs 17 June, Yazan and Dima (Mother of Three) are joined by friends Jesse Adelman (The Telephones), New Beard, and Greg Barris (Heart of Darkness, Wigmaker’s Son) for a night of acoustic songs at Sidewalk Cafe, home of the anti-folk scene. Not exactly our scene, but it’s a good room with great sound, and there’s no cover and reasonably priced booze. These aren’t gonna be your average strummy, yawn-y acoustic tunes — it’s gonna be a raucous night.
Dima will be playing as Corrupt Autopilot, debuting some songs from his upcoming LP Greetings from Ghost Country, while Yazan will be playing songs from his upcoming solo LP as well.
